office of international affairs (oia) was a collaborative project between three designers, victoria tom, zin min thike, and myself. the second collection, featured here, is a tribute to america as we continued to struggle with our sense of attachment and detachment to this country. in this collection we explored our references to which we idealized as “american” and extracted, abstracted, and applied influences from our cultures.
